The Mifare Wiegand reader ASR2100A by Dahua is a robust access control unit built for reliable everyday use. It reads Mifare IC cards contactlessly, so users simply present their card to unlock a door.

Made from durable PC material with an acrylic panel and rated IP66, this reader is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It handles a wide operating temperature range from –30°C to +70°C, so it keeps working through cold winters and warm summers alike.

Connectivity is flexible thanks to both RS485 and Wiegand communication, letting the Mifare Wiegand reader integrate into existing access systems. A built-in buzzer and indicator give clear audible and visual feedback during use, while the anti-tampering alarm adds an extra layer of security.

To keep operation smooth over the long term, a built-in watchdog detects and controls abnormal operating states and performs recovery to ensure long-term operation. Every connection port also features overcurrent and overvoltage protection. Power supply is 12V 0.5A DC.
